Responsible Gaming
PlanBet is committed to offering a safe and fair gaming environment. This page explains the tools, policies and external support available to help players stay in control.
Gambling as Entertainment
Gambling should be a form of entertainment, not a way to earn money. Set a budget before you play and stick to it. Never chase losses or gamble with money you cannot afford to lose.
Tools to Help You Stay in Control
PlanBet provides several features to support responsible play:
- Deposit limits: Choose daily, weekly or monthly caps on how much you can deposit. Limits apply immediately. Requests to raise them require a 24-hour cooling-off period. - Loss limits: Set thresholds for how much you are willing to lose over a chosen period. These also take effect right away, with any increase delayed by 24 hours. - Session time limits: Decide how long you can play in one sitting. The system will log you out once the limit is reached. - Reality checks: Receive periodic pop-up messages showing how long you have been playing. - Cooling-off periods: Take a break for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Your account will be paused during this time and you cannot log in. - Self-exclusion: Opt out of your account for a minimum of six months. During this time, you cannot access your account or open a new one. Reactivation requires manual review after the exclusion period ends.
All these settings are found in your account’s “Responsible Gaming” section. Changes to decrease limits are instant. Increases always include a mandatory waiting period.
Recognising Problem Gambling
Signs that gambling may be becoming harmful include: – Spending more time or money than intended – Lying about how much you gamble – Trying to win back losses quickly – Neglecting work, family or other responsibilities – Feeling restless or irritable when not gambling
If any of these sound familiar, consider using the tools above or reaching out for help.
Getting Independent Support
Free, confidential support is available through organisations such as GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline. Players may also register with GAMSTOP, the national self-exclusion scheme, which prevents access to online gambling sites licensed in this jurisdiction. These services offer counselling, practical advice and long-term support.
Protecting Minors
You must be at least 18 years old to open an account or play. PlanBet verifies age during registration and may request documents to confirm identity. If you share a device with minors, consider installing blocking software like Net Nanny or Gamban to restrict access to gambling content.
Account Rules and Fair Play
Only one account per person is allowed. Multiple accounts will be closed. You must provide accurate personal details during registration. Identity and payment verification (KYC) is required before your first withdrawal to prevent fraud and money laundering.
Bonuses come with terms: wagering requirements, game eligibility, expiry dates and conversion limits. Bonus abuse, such as creating multiple accounts or exploiting loopholes, will void any offer and may lead to account closure.
Dormant accounts inactive for 24 months may incur a monthly fee after written notice. Fair play is required at all times. Collusion, use of bots, fraudulent payment disputes and other dishonest acts breach our rules and may result in permanent exclusion.
Complaints about gameplay or account issues should first be sent to PlanBet’s support team. If unresolved within eight weeks, you may escalate the matter to the relevant regulatory authority.
